Just So
Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon
Evening light illuminates the tips of adolescent douglas fir trees in Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon.
I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve photographed this hillside of trees in all different types of conditions. Despite the location being alongside a highway, the view that you get is hard to pass up and I often stop to take it in and photograph it. I always enjoy the time spent but had never gotten a photo that I loved until this evening when my girlfriend and I were taking a leisurely drive around Mt. Hood and ended up at the hillside as the evening light was catching the treetops just so. I’m happy to finally have a photo of this area that I enjoy enough, though that won’t stop me from continuing to visit and explore them. Photo © copyright by TJ Thorne.
