Samuel Boardman State Scenic Corridor, Oregon
Water swirls around a rock on the Oregon Coast, forming a near perfect golden spiral. It was mesmerizing to watch this happen. This is looking down from a high cliff and the water is deep. As the water level rose and fell with each passing swell, the water would swirl around this rock, creating a whirlpool-like effect. Photo © copyright by TJ Thorne.
