Zabriskie Dawn
Death Valley National Park, California
Soft morning light illuminates the badlands of Zabriskie Point in Death Valley National Park, California.
Zabriskie Point is popular for good reason. The shapes and colors of the badlands are amazing and I can get lost in them for hours finding different compositions as the light changes. But more than that, the fact that I’m looking at the eroded sediments of a lakebed that dried up over 5 million years ago is pretty amazing as well. We’re flashes in the pan when it comes to time. Make the best of it. Photo © copyright by TJ Thorne.
